Don’t panic — here’s what to do and how to recover your funds (if possible).
❌ If Your Card Is Expired
Most MyGift cards are valid for 5 years from the issue date.
What Happens When It Expires?
- You can’t use it for purchases
- Your remaining balance might still be recoverable
- A replacement card can be issued in some cases
✅ How to Replace an Expired Card
- Call 1-877-322-4710
- Press the option for “Lost or Expired Card”
- Provide:
- Full name used when registering (if any)
- Last 4 digits (if available)
- Original purchase date/store (if known)
- Request a replacement or refund
🟡 A replacement fee (around $5.95) may apply.
Funds must still be available on the card.
🛑 If the Card Has $0 Balance, It Cannot Be Replaced.

Step 1: Call Immediately

Choose: “Report Lost or Stolen Card”
Step 2: Provide Verification
- Card number (if known)
- Expiry & CVV
- Any prior balance activity
- Email (if card was registered)
🔁 Can You Get a Refund?
In most cases:
- Yes, if your card had balance AND you can verify details
- No, if the card is empty or no info is available
🔐 Tip: Register Your Card ASAP
Unregistered cards have a lower chance of being refunded or replaced.
